Today is Day 2 of our Inspirational Week and we think that it is very fitting to choose the beautiful Lucy Fitz! Hope you enjoy x
This week Lucy celebrated the 2 year anniversary of her makeup account which she has worked incredibly hard with and it has really paid of as it has brought many amazing oppurtunites her way !......swear I dont wish I was her.....
Lucy set up her Instagram account on the 21st of February 2016 . At this time having a makeup account was not as common as it is now so I can only imagine the courage it took to actually let the world know about her and true love (makeup , not Sean now, we'll get to that later ;) ). Lucy's fan base quickly started to grow and soon after she began receiving messages from followers asking for makeup appointments which was the beginning of her makeup artist career. To this date, Lucy has almost 45k followers.
Over the years, she has worked with many big brands such Benefit, Essence and Nima just to name a few and has also become a Brand Ambassador for Rebeluna Cosmetics! She was also nominated for a Best Newcomer Award at the Gossie Awards which she is attending tonight! ( If you happen to stumble across this at any stage, Best of Luck darling or Congrats x !! )
On the 27th of December, was an amazing showcase of how far Lucy has came when she held her biggest event yet “Lucy Fitz Here and Now". The event was held in the Strand Hotel Limerick and sold out quickly. With 400 people attending on the night and pop up shops including “Glowing Girlies and B Bold Tan“ it was a brilliant and enjoyable day for everyone. At this event, Lucy gave people more of an insight into her personal life. Lucy has organized a second “Lucy Fitz Here and Now“ event in Cork on the 3rd of April which is sure to be another amazing night!
Recently Lucy has moved to a grind school “The Tutorial College“ in Limerick City to focus on her Leaving Cert over the next two years. Lucy has showed us how she constantly juggles her life between school, makeup, social life and her upcoming brand “Lucy Fitz“. She is also became quite the explorer with her new bae as in recent months she has travelled to London, Poland and Paris! This summer she will be travelling to Australia ( jealous much ?! ) while stopping in places like Bali and Dubai.
