Most people probably don't (or maybe you do, if so luv u <3) know who Huda Kattan is so shame on you ;). Keep on reading to find out how you most definitely know who Huda is even if you think you don’t!
It only takes 2 minutes of watching Huda to understand why everyone loves her and how she’s become an internet sensation she is.
Originally Kattan attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn to study business but quickly realised that it just was not the right path for her. She decided to then follow her dream and become a makeup artist instead, breaking with her family’s wishes.
After a while of being in the makeup artistry industry and after building up quite the following on her social media, she began to think about starting her own business.
Huda Kattan is the CEO of her own cosmetics company, Huda Beauty. (If you haven't heard of that now I'm worried for you!) This is now a huge brand with huge success! Her brand may be huge and successful now but it wasn’t so easy getting it to that point.
At the beginning, owning a business was not what Huda had in mind and just wasn’t something that she really wanted to do but after much convincing from her assistant, she decided to bite the bullet and go for it! They struggled to raise the money to start up the business so Alya, her older sister, made the initial $6,500 investment. (Where can I buy a sister like that?!....soz Laur ;) Kattan began doing makeup artist sessions “back-to-back” with as many clients as she could to raise seed money. Once they had raised enough, they began designing and creating their business and originally named it 'The Beauty 411' and was only going to be a lash brand. The brand then developed and came to be named what we know it as today ' Huda Beauty'.
When starting off her business, she knew that she wanted her brand to be in Sephora and that was the main goal for her. She contacted numerous distributors in the area but all had no interest in her brand and her products and simply said no. Eventually, they found somebody who saw her potential and her dream and made all those dreams happen! They organised a huge launch day for her brand to Sephora. Practically overnight, Huda Beauty became a huge success and became the most purchased product in Sephora Middle- East and has beaten those records since. The rest is history.

Huda Kattan is 100% One of Beauty's Most Influential Women and she is the queennnnn (literally in the photo) of YouTube, Insta, Facebook, you name it videos. I just loooveeee her.
